Hi! The Pillars of the Earth Book Two will be released on Steam the next Wednesday 13th,anyone in GOG knows when will be released here? thanks!

in my place it should be out now, and tomorrow book 3. but there is still no book2 jet.... does both come out tomorrow?

I don't know from which source you took that information. Would you please forward it to me?

We are working hard to release Book 2 this week on GOG as well. I will update you with a date, if I can be certain.

Book 3 is scheduled for approximately May 2018.

heres the link i missread ... im sorry. theyre talking about the interwiew in this not the books. i missunderstanded :(
But im happy to here that maybe this week i can play Book 2. That makes me happy. i read the books. so its nice to see that youre game is very close to the book.

We hope to release Book 2 here on GOG very soon and that you will have fun with it. :)

at least we have someone who is giving us feedback and explanations or information, which is quite valuable, compared to the many times we are just left in complete silence.

also, something i dont understand, in my account library, is the "book 2 and 3" DLC that is sized at a mere 130mb only.... is it a symptom of the problem mentioned earlier ? or something different ?

Anyway, i hope we will be granted book 2 soon, i quite loved my time on 1st book (and especially after having played a very mediocre and frustrating other "adventure game" the days before, it really helped me make peace with adventure games again...)

Yes, I've also noticed that strange 130mb-file two days ago. I installed it but there seems to be no change in the game.

I assume that GOG's update system is the reason for the delay in the release of Book 2? It's very sad there isn't a more effective update system on GOG. It's the main drawback compared to Steam for me and it shouldn't be so in my opinion. I think that's also one reason why there are some developers who don't update their games on GOG anymore or many months later.
However that may be, it's good from you Daedalic-guys to stay in contact with the community, I really appreciate that.

edit, OT: Is it possible that the Season Pass-price has raised? I've bought it for about fifteen Euro two days ago...

Wow...Seriously!? Thats unacceptable. Steam getting stuff 1st cos you dont know how the system at gog works!? Great job devs!

Its Friday now. I hope to play it on the weekend. when the issue is still going, can you send me the game per mail or something like that? I really wanna play ^^

I would do other stuff for that too ;)

(now going sadly to work)

p.s. I would have bought it on steam if i had known that. :( 5 €diffrence doesent make me poor)
