Hello to my favorite Polish neighbors! :)

I just wanted to say that the sentence "This game is available in Polish only and was never released outside Poland." is simply not true, as the game has been released in the Czech Republic and in the Czech language as well, albeit under a different name "Příhody z Galské země" (it's a weird story - the distribution has used its marginal and accidental similarity to Asterix stories and decided to release it here under such a name that implies some sort of connection).

I've loved the game as a child, though. Any chances of getting it in Czech?

There are some fan translation in english, and one is being prepared in German. Do you have the Czech game? Was it only the text or also the talking, that was in Czech?

I don't have the Czech game myself, I used to have the original, legally bought on a CD as a child - but it was a long time ago (at least 20-25 years) and I don't have the CD anymore. I am absolutely sure that the text was translated to Czech and - almost certainly - there was also an option for the Czech dubbing (voices) in the CD version itself (there was also a floppy disc version I think). It was NOT a fan translation, but an official copy from a legal distributor "Vochozka Trading" already in Czech.

You can check the box art and the description here:

At the bottom of the first picture, you can see the black text "plně česky namluveno" (full Czech dubbing)
Piotr Kulikiewicz (author of the game "Kajko i Kokosz") talks about his games at YouTube. I am not able to put link to this clip but you can search for "Piotr Kulikiewicz o tworzeniu gier na Atari i Amigę / Retrostories #9". He talks also about Czech version of Kajko i Kokosz. The video is only in Polish.
Eminin Is the topic still relevant? I managed to find the Czech version of the game, from what I can see, only the text is in Czech, although it is a speechless version
You could PM the user from the first post (raindancer), I think he would be very happy :)
