Hey everyone! I have recently rediscovered these games and wanted to make some videos with them. However none of the recording software that I have are able to record any footage. I use Fraps and Mirrilis Action to record if that helps. Are there any other recording programs that I could use? Thanks in advance.

Not sure, but you can try bandicam, hypercam, dxtory or if you have nvidia card, you can also try shadowplay. ;)

The reason Fraps won't work is that it can only record 3D games, where Journeyman Project is 2D prerendered.

I did a Let's Play of Pegasus Prime (Journeyman 1) once using Camtasia Studio, but that costs money. If you're looking for something on the free side, I'd look into Hypercam2 or Virtualdub.
I have OBS set up, and it works pretty well once you figure out the right settings. Since Pegasus Prime runs through ScummVM, you can set it up with OBS game capture and it'll work just fine. Buried in Time and Legacy of Time are different, though, you'll have to use screen capture and set the capture resolution to whatever resolution the games are forced to run at.

Edit: Buried in Time might get easier to record in the future, there are rumors that Presto is going to remaster it at some point.

Presto is defunct, long out of business, right? I really enjoyed these games...if the company had not tied itself so closely to the Mac in the beginning, who knows what it might have accomplished? Love to see the games "remastered" and not just re-released with a handful of modifications. It would take using a new engine--3d engine--and new FMV, etc., but the material is classic and would make for great gaming even now.

Presto is still sort-of around, they got back together to remaster Pegasus Prime back in 2014.
You should record these games. They're amazing games that never got the attention/recognition they deserved. Would make an awesome movie.
I usually use Joyoshare Screen Recorder to capture many games with mic, but The Journeyman Series is not included. So I'm not sure whether it will work. Maybe you could give its free trial a shot.
