Has anyone been able to get either of these games running smoothly on windows 8? I can get these games to run on my computer but it takes a long time for bullets etc. to move. I had hoped to resolve this issue by extracting bink32.dll, draw.dll and libwine.dll as this improved the performance in the original game and even allowed me to play vanilla ja2.

I have tried to apply the hot fixes to these games as I did to JA2 but to no avail. There is NOTHING on the Internet I have found addressing this issue, so if someone could please tell me a proven solution I would greatly appreciate it, as I have paid money for these games and in their current state I can't enjoy them.
