Does the original Jagged Alliance and Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games work with Windows 7 64-bit? With full voice and music and cutscenes? (The best thing about Jagged Alliance is the quirky mercs and their voices... the games would not be as much fun without them.)

What about the Jagged Alliance 2 series? Do they run on Windows 7 64-bit?

The descriptions say they are compatible with Windows Vista 64-bit, but I have encountered games that would run on Windows Vista but not Windows 7.

Would like to hear from someone who has bought the games from GOG.com and then tried them on Windows 7 64-bit. Thanks.

I've only played the GOG versions on Win 7 64 bits (JA, JA DG, JA2 and JA UB), and they have music and sound effects, voices and cut scenes. They work well for the most part, but crash from time to time, so it's a good habit to save the game often. Especially JA DG crashes a lot.

It's also a good idea not to install the game on Program files (x64) folder because it might cause problem loading or saving game. I created a Games folder instead.
The first game and Deadly Games should be fine. As far as I remember they are DOS games and would be running in DOSBox.

As for the later games. I wouldn't know yet. I run them on older systems that actually run old OS's. A perk of having a hand full of repaired old machines I guess XD
btw...

JA = Jagged Alliance
JA2 = Jagged Alliance 2
DG = Deadly games
UB = Unfinished business
How do you install it in a different folder? I haven't been able to figure this out.

Edit: Never mind, figured it out, boy am I a dumbass.

But if I buy and install JA (which I will be doing tomorrow :) ) does it simply run in Windows, or does it starts up DOSBOX by itself, and installs it?
Thanks in advance :)
So just to make it clear. Jagged Alliance and Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games WORKS on WINDOWS 7 64-bit. Even though, on their download page they didn't indicated Win 7 on their compatible OS.

Sounds right guys?

What about Jagged Alliance 2, JA2: Unfinish Business, and JA2: Wildfire? I loved playing JA2 years ago and would love to have all of the JA games on my laptop but it is Windows 7 64-bit and I don't want to buy the games and not have them work.

Both play fine here, GoG edition and original. They don't even need administrator rights, as long as you make sure to grant RWXD access rights to folders SavedGames and Data\Temp.

Thanks for the info! Once I finish some of the other great games I've downloaded from here, I'll give the JA games a shot.
