Hello,

I know the Wikia JA: Deady Games, there were voices that could be heard only in multiplayer mode, a sort of "taunt" before starting the game (or maybe is it for the part).

Here the link:

https://www.google.fr/url?sa=t&rct=j&q=&esrc=s&source=web&cd=1&cad=rja&uact=8&ved=0ahUKEwj8jJnq3qDPAhWBExoKHfieAy8QFggcMAA&url=http%3A%2F%2Fjaggedalliance.wikia.com%2Fwiki%2FJack_%2522Postie%2522_Durham&usg=AFQjCNGk4e3BlBkbE0VQOW39x_l6qqeqyA&sig2=Bur2VuWHvw8NgqOj2FkrdQ&bvm=bv.133387755,d.d2s

Search for "multiplayer taunt".

In short, I know that was the time of the release of the game, there were two cd-rom, the first one was for the main campaign, and the second for the multiplayer mode is that the GOG version contains those famous voices, or no ? because I assumed that these voices (those of the multiplayer mode) are found only on the second CD-ROM, for information I have the orginal CD of the campaign and not the second CD, that is why I ask myself.

So is there an software to extract the voices in Deadly Game, and even those in JA2? Or may be another way to get them?

While I am, I put the same question to the subtitles on and DG JA2, is there a software to view and extract the subtitles?

Thank you in advance.

Not sure about JA and JA DG, Sir Tech used a proprietry archive format for JA2 with file extension .slf

To open such files get the SLF-explorer from http://www.jaggedalliance.de/download/filearchiv_list.php?group=7

For an english transalation of the german inteface check http://ja2v113.pbworks.com/w/page/28862290/SLF%20Explorer%20Interface%20Translation

Subtitles of JA 2 are probably contained in the .edt files, get the editor on the same page as slfExplore

Parts of the JA / JA DG speechsets are already contained in the JA 2 1.13 update,
already extracted in subfolders with rather self explanatory names, so you may want to check that out too.
And perhaps also play it.

As a sidenote, Wizardry 8 (which also uses .slf archives) and JA 2 share several voice actors.

Thank you very much for your help,I really appreciate. :)

For those who wishes to extract the voices in JA 1/ DG, there is a software that I found: "Speech File Extractor", here is the link:

http://kermi.pp.fi/JA_1/Modding_Tools/DG/

It is fairly simple to use, and thanks to him I was able to extract the voice.

Regarding the 1.13 mod JA 2, I think I installed the wrong version because I do not see the former mercenaries of A.I.M. (Eg, Boss, Kely etc ..) and thus impossible to found the quotes in the famous folder/files, in short I will have to install the correct version of 1.13 mod.

Thank you again for your help.

I may missinterpret what you saying, but AFAIK, by far not all mercs of JA1 are featured in JA2, modded or not. In fact some mods even added fev more back if I remember right.
Do you have any idea of the software to use to open Deadly Games subtitles?

I know that such software exists, a long time ago I had managed to open the subtitles, I tried with SFL but it does not recognize any file of the game.
