The graphics in Jagged Alliance 2 are extremely glitched for me. When I enter a new screen, it fuses with the one before and moving my mouse causes duplicates of the mouse cursor to appear everywhere (see the attached image).

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit and an ATI card with the latest drivers. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I can't really be the only one with this problem? No-one can help me? Any possible fix is appreciated as the game is completely unplayable as it is right now.
Seems to be a combination of W7 64bit and an ATI-card.
I have neither, so I can't help you.
Perhaps this thread might give you an indication of where to look.

This has been caused before due to crossfire being in use. Take a look here for another discussion on this in the Bear's Pit.

Yup, AMD crossfire and my dual GPU ATI card seems to have been the problem.

I couldn't turn off Crossfire or Catalyst AI in CCC, so I changed the ja2.exe into ForceSingleGPU.exe and now it works again! Thanks a lot.
Just to clarify, solution for ATI users is to rename ja2.exe as forcesinglegpu.exe.
So, I just picked up JA2 in the holiday sale, I have the same graphical glitch (massive redraw issues, the cursor leaves trails, etc). However, I'm running Windows 7 from Parallels, on a Mac. So I can't turn off Crossfire, and the renaming trick doesn't work.

Anyone have any other ideas?

Here's some standard methods for dealing with these problems:

I have the same issue. Except I'm using a Nvidia GTX 670.

If you're only using a single card, then I'm not sure what's causing the problem. As stated above, my problem was due to two GPUs running in Crossfire.

Also, I'd suggest opening a new thread with more details. This one is already marked solved, so most people that may be able to help will just skip over it.
Disabling 'Merc Lights during Movement' removed the artifacts I was having.
