Everytime I start, the lower part of the screen is black. How can I get it to run in proper full screen mode?

Run "launch graphic mode setup" in the game folder.
In the "Basic Settings" tab select "OPenGl" for the Graphic Mode and check "full screen".
Go into the "Advanced Settings" tab, check "keep aspect ratio".
For "Scaling Engine" set "Normal 2x".
For Window Resolution set on "Original" and save all the settings.
The game should launch in full screen without the black stripes.

Yes it works I tested before posted, for my part I do not use GOG Galaxy, but I do not understand why you have
