GOG version for sure. I don't own the 2 others, so I can tell!
Anyone, cause it's a good game? :P
No, really - I think the PC had some pre-purchase console exclusives, so unless you have them on console - better go for PC. And GOG at that, because why use DRM?

GOG with Jade Empire in Style installed..... awesome.
Does the GOG version include any fixes?

Like... what fixes? It's latest version to date probably, but you mean something else?
I have both GOG and Origin. As of this post, prior to GOG Galaxy having cloud saves live, Origin is the superior version. I have both installed at the same time currently, and they are exactly the same. The Origin version has GOG's files in it. The game belongs to EA after all. (You can see GOG.com printed on the wallpapers in Origin.) The only difference is that Origin has cloud saves and GOG does not. Galaxy will have cloud saves in the next update, or an update soon, at that point they will be identical again.

As for Xbox version, technically speaking it should be the most inferior version primarily due to being unble to run at up to 1920x1200p at 60fps, nor use mods like on PC

I have this on Xbox and GOG, i also had it on steam before i refunded it.
I would say that none are perfect. GOG, Steam, and Origin all have better graphics but the xbox version has better controls.

Controls may not seem like a big deal to some but to me it is very important.

On xbox the camera is a free cam and is not stuck behind the charachter like on PC.
On xbox when you press left or right on the joystick to move the character turns, and on the PC the character will strafe.
Also on xbox, you can use the d-pad to choose dialog choices. you can't on PC.

I know on PC i can use the keyboard but i prefer using a controller for this game. However, if i didn't have it on xbox and could only play it on PC i would use the keyboard because the controller imput is so terrible.

I just bought the game earlier today on GOG and wanted to decide between using an Xbox 360 controller or the keyboard and mouse on PC. Are you saying that my gamepad wouldn't work as well in this game despite being essentially a PC port from Xbox.

BTW if you had to choose between GOG and steam, choose the GOG version. It has already the patch included while on steam you have to add some fixes to make it work right.

As for the Xbox vs PC version controversy, I would choose the PC version. I was able to choose 2715 x1527 resolution on PC, while you are stuck to playing the game in the resolution set in a first generation console, the original Xbox.

Gamepad on Xbox works differently than the gamepad on PC

So do you still recommend using keyboard and mouse on PC instead of the Xbox 360 controller?

Yes, the GOG version was recently updated(10/17) to include fixes for stuttering and to add resolution and other settings on the in game menu. You don't have to dig into the files to change the resolution. It is now available on the menu.

Now that the Jade Empire has been added to the BC list on Xbox One and enhanced on the Xbox One X, I can now potentially play the game in 4K resolution on my Xbox One X.

I have the PC GOG version but I agree that using my Xbox controller on my PC doesn't work as well as it does on the Xbox One, so I am considering getting the game on Xbox as well. Perhaps MS will give it away with Games with Gold too.

Using a gamepad with it's analog sticks on martial arts games is just better and more intuitive with a gamepad than a keyboard and mouse.
