I've potentially encountered a dead end. From what I've been reading, I'm not the only one with JO ...

I need to get the Chinese manuscript for trading it with the Chinese in front of the laundry. However, since Bellinger was already killed by the mobster, the rose granny disappeared from the Cotton Club area. So I can no longer give her the vase to receive the manuscript for trading with the Chinese.

Is there an alternative way of receiving the manuscript or did I just hit a dead end?
