I have the same error, it happens during a scene on the beach, when Jack is saving a little girl.
I also get that same error at that same spot in the Intro.
Known problem. Solution: skip the intro and just start playing the game. Yes, it's slightly annoying, but look at it the other way: it's not half as bad as an in-game crash!

If you want to watch the whole intro sequence, go to http://www.gog.com/en/forum/jack_orlando_a_cinematic_adventure_dc_/jack_orlando for a link where you can just watch it online.

True, but it also doesn't bold well for the game. When you watch something like the Opening Intro crash, you start to wonder if other parts of the game will crash. Is it a problem that will appear with more Cinematics? Isn't the entire game a big "Cinematic Adventure"? It sort of puts the player on the side of caution and lowers the enjoyment of the game, because your hoping no other game crashing bugs appear.
I've been wondering this myself, as I just bought it. Is the game fully playable to the end, or does it have any game stopping crashes?
Well, answering to my own question, yes, the game is fully playable to the end without crashes.

Quite frankly, what is the point in playing an adventure game if you have to skip the intro because it crashes? In fact, any game where you have to skip the intro to play it cannot said to be a working game, and GOG really needs to be working on either fixing these games, or making sure they are not in the catelogue. Nothing ruins a Good Old Game more than having to skip parts of it, however seemingly unimportant it is, to play it...
I'm also experiencing an access violation error, but it's not at the intro. It happens when I confront Ballinger inside the club and try to scroll my inventory downwards. Weird. I'll see if I can make it around this problem.

However I also wanted to bump this thread to say that som old comments above aren't really fair. A game, any game, can crash on one computer and work fins with the next. This was cetainly true in the "good old days" where this game originated from. I think demanding100% working on all computers is a bit too much and not fair on the GOG crew,

With that being said; I do not think that there shouldn't be efforts made to correct any errors. They just need to be reasonable.
When this bug fixed? Because intro watching in online is not solution, Game working fine, but intro bug is really annoying.
Is intro bug now fixed?
