Hello guys, when I kill the minotaur and I try (finally) to cross the bridge the game freeze and I have to kill the process.
I'm playing the game in Lubuntu 18, but I tried different distros, different laptops, different dosbox version, changing languages, changing save files... no way to cross that damn bridge.

What's more funny (it's not actually), I was stuck there even playing my original Amiga version when I was a child (loved this game but couldn't kill the minotaur, all my life I trained playing RPG to finally finish this game). More than 20 years passed and I m still not able to cross that bridge!!!

Couldnt find anything online, any clue??

Hello all, its been a while since this post, but I actually run in the exactly same bug yesterday. during crossing a bridge after minotaur kill I get complete game freeze so it breaks game totally. I have tried several workarounds (tried change dosbox settings, tried also different abandonware sites ishar versions and also I tried older dosbox releases to run game) But nothing works, this issue is happending with all above described combinations.

anyone heard about solution?
btw im running win10 64-bit

that pisses me off also because Im playing the game after decades and and it really sucked me in totally :-) and now this happens!!

EDIT: if anyone run in the same trouble, I solved it just by starting new game - all works flawless now

I am having the exact same issue - game freezes when I'm crossing the bridge and entering Silmatil. The odd thing is that it did work initially (eg. right after killing the Minotaur) and 'only' froze once I crossed it for the second or third time. This is however a game breaking bug as there is no way to progress in the game or bypassing that bridge and I am already several hours into the game. Does anyone have any solution for this?

Restarting the game is not an option as I'm already several hours into the campaign and there's no guarantee it wouldn't trigger again.

Found a partial solution.
I did not understand why this was happening, but I was able to cross the bridge.

I downloaded the Amiga variant from gamesnostalgia . com. I copied the save from the dos version there. Moved. But, apparently, you will have to go through the amiga emulator.
