as the topic tells you already: nn'

I can't pass the patrol at the end of the canyon in level 2

I tried already every hint that I found on the internet without luck. The available tainers also doesn't work with the gog-game version. It's frustating because I enjoy his game but can't play further. Any hint will be appreciated.

I'm assuming nn' means NEVER MIND?
Topic subject or title of the thread states:
"I can't pass the patrol at the end of the canyon in level 2"

If nn does mean Never Mind, please type it out next time so people like me who are trying to help don't waste time responding.

(Additionally, post the details how you worked out a solution, how you beat that section. instead of just saying "Never mind" as some people do.)

I'm sure you have figured out how to get past that section by now but here is my advice to others:


1: You need to post a screenshot of section you are referring to.

2: On youtube there are several walk-thru's, snag a copy.

3: Level 2? (Post a screenshot next time.)
On the section you are referring to I think you are talking about a narrow canyon that has mines, about 1/2 down there is a guy dying on a rock on the left that has a few words for you about the camp up ahead, then you proceed the rest of the way with the canyon opening up and you can hear/see about 8 troops to your left (and a camp in the background) getting ready to proceed in your direction.

What you do is to use the rock on the right as cover, laying as flat as you can while keeping out of sight of the troops. Laying flat and moving to the right as they walk to the left on the other side of the rock. Once the troops are past you crouch walk/run? to your LEFT in the shadows for about 75ft and you will see (2) troops to your right talking. Stay in the shadows, towards the right proceeding about 100 more ft and a Freedom fighter will great you and lead you to the left down a canyon about 30ft, at that point you drop down into the Freedom fighter tunnels.

*If you start shooting- a Airship will take you out pretty quickly.
* I think I was able to take out the (2) talking guards, the tower guards and a few others once, I think.

Once in the tunnels you go 100ft, around that point you are told you have to drop all your weapons.
*If you go into the camp with weapons, guards will be alerted.

Once you drop your weapons, you sneak into a line of prisoners getting ready to load. Once in the truck a cut scene occurs showing the truck going out the gates of the camp, turning to the right and the next level loads.
