After finally playing Iron Harvest's demo on Gog I can say one thing : I enjoy it so much, thought I agree with some that certain things like AI could be still better. Still this game has improved since summer demo on Steam. :)

But I have another question now. Will the progress I made during the demo will be carried over on full game on condition I buy the game on the same platform as demo, in my case Gog? I would appreciate that if someone could answer that.

Also another, this time fun question: Can I consider Mega Mechs - I mean Tur (Polania), Kaiser (Saxony) and Gulyay-Gorod (Rusviet) as a Iron Harvest's Super Units? Because I really enjoy Super Units in any RTS I like. :D

Hey there, glad you enjoyed the game. Yes your progress should continue over from the demo to the main game when you purchase it.
Also yes feel to consider those mechs the mega mechs super units. Although, Brunhilde and some of the hero abilites could be considered like that also.
Hey TheIronDoc, thanks for the late reply. Yes I saw that about progress. I already got the game on Xmas thought the thing is that cleared missions were locked again except first mission in Polania campaign so I had start over even if medals carried over. Still, I finished the campaign and later got and finished Rusviet Revolution as well, so now I'm looking forward to big Addon DLC. :)

Also nice to know that Mega Mechs can be considered as a Super Units. I'm gratefull for that. :)

Also some more questions about future content:

1. There is confirmed now that big Addon will have 4th faction. Will this faction will come with their own Mega Mech? Would be a bit unfair if that faction didnt have own equivalent to other faction's Mega Mechs.

2.Will be also new units for existing factions including new mechs?

3. If new units are possible, so also new heroes for existing factions as well? Thought not sure if this one is possible but it could add some variety in existing factions. I could think about Hero unit that has ability to repair other mechs similar to how Anna's Wojtek heals infantry.

Also it might be odd in that setting but would like to see a mech with a caterpillar treads as a locomotion. Something like Allied Future Tank X-1 from Red Alert 3 Uprising, or even like Lord of Skulls from Warhammer 40k. Would be very nice if it is possible to add something like that. :)

And as I said again, the only thing for me that could be done better, yet I hope it will be improved is AI for skirmish. Its not bad for me, its slighty improved than in Summer Demo but could at least use other unit abilities than grenades as well for example - Saxony's Eisenhans and Erlkonig and Rusviet's Nakovalnya does use some abiltites to attack because the first two have to deploy to attack while Nakovalnya attack move is a ability as well, but most of units doesnt use other abilities than mostly grenade rather they use a attack move. I hope that AI improvements are in roadmaps too. :)

Yes the 4th faction will have all equivelent mechs to the other factions.

Good ideas :)

Cool but unlikely. Tank treads don't really feature in the world of 1920+ and would take way from the world asthetic of Jakub Rozalski.

We are always looking at ways to improve the A.I. It's a long term goal for us.
Thanks for your questions and continued support :)
Thanks for answers. The reason why I truly care about Mega Mechs as a Iron Harvest's super units is that again, I really like Super Units in any RTS. In skirmish I mostly try to go for them and smash AI bases with overwhelming firepower or strength. I played many games with Super units among much more RTS I enjoyed such as Dawn of Wars (including infamous Dow3, which indeed feels lackluster sometimes compared to Dow2 and especially Dow1 yet still enjoyed it just like entire franchise overall, but each has a own opinion through ;) ), Supreme Commander 1 with Forged Alliance and 2 (experimentals), Spellforce 3 with Soul Harvest (Titans, I don't remember if I played previous installments), Command and Conquer 3 Kane's Wrath (Epic units), Warlords Battlecry 3(Titans) and some even lesser known RTS such as Grey Goo (Epic units) and Ashes of the Singularity (Juggernauts), even Company of Heroes 2 and even 1(thought I own first but didn't played it) had a own sort of Super Units in the form of Heavy Tanks. Overall Super Units are among my favorite things in RTS genre. :)

Also about factions, I wouldn't mind what would be a new faction, more importanly that there will be, but I would like to see Nordic Kingdoms or Togawa Shogunate but Crimean Khanate and Clan Albion would be nice choices too. But it could be The Factory as well. In that case some of its mechs could be somekind of glass cannons - a fragile but hard-hitting units similar to Aeldari units from WH40K :).

It could be also a entirely new faction in setting like America but from what I was told that depends on Jakub Różalski to expand the setting. :[ Thought there is already a painting with american mechs. :)
