I'm going to say something rather conversational, which is that review bombing isn't such a bad thing. Not when it gets results like this.

For the record what happened to terminx was completely uncool and I felt really bad for him. I didn't refund the game because a good game is still a good game, but I was certainly not in the mood to play it any time soon.

Still, I'm glad that the devs decided to stand up to the bullies and stand by their work. Censorship is bad no matter how subtle. In fact subtle Censorship bothers me more then major stuff precisely because it succeeds more often. I believe censorship has no busyness succeeding at all. You could argue that review bombing is a for of bulling as well, and yeah I can see that. But sometimes it takes a little push to get someone to stand up for themselves.

I agree. Though there are some here who don't. but to each their own. What matters is gamers are going to keep the game they purchased and the devs/publisher manage to find their scrotums.

You could say they have "balls of steal" Sorry couldn't resist.

Just gonna add my two cents: I think that the mass refunds had more to do with 3DR's decsion to cave than the review bombing did. I say 3DR because VoidPoint made it pretty obvious from the get-go that they were against everything that happened and that they were just doing as their publisher commanded

This has been discussed and argued about to death, can we move on now?

I posted this same thread on Steam where it got a lot of positive feedback. Unfortunately the devs deleted it.

I hope people rewise their reviews now, the game is great (only bought it AFTER they decided to stand up for their own work).

I can sorta understand some PR guy/gal seeing these complaints and doing a stupid thing, and the CEO giving a go-ahead before verifying anything (aka. one big mess of a mistake), so backtracking is basically them figuring out they fucked up and fixing their mistake.

Either that, or they're just a weather vane.

Uh, it's still censored for me? Title screen still says "Ion Fury". Had to install a mod to fix.

The title has nothing to do with this.
