Volrath expressed very well my feeling about Invictus (°).
I just want to add a technical comment: I am very pleased with GOG quality of the product.
Indeed, I physically bought the game several years ago. But I was never able to finish it because of "access violation" errors whose frequency was increasing while progressing in the game up to a point it was no more possible to play. I used the latest patch and over years have tried on several successive computers (Win95, Win98, 3 x XP) - without success.
I recently re-purchased the game from GOG. I was able to play and finish it with only 3-4 errors during the whole game. Well done !
