Intravenous v1.5hf1 does not start on Windows 7

I have installed the latest offline installer for iIntravenous v1.5hf1 on Windows 7 SP1 x64. When I try to start it directly from intravenous.exe this error occurs and the game does not start.

The procedure entry point createfile2 could not be located in the dnamic link library KERNEL32.DLL

Windows 7 is listed as supported

Is it just me or have others the same problem on Windows 7?
Exactly the same here.

If i launch it through Galaxy then nothing at all happens, if I launch it from the .exe itself then I get this error

Me too :/
Yep +1 :-/
I just tested the newest version 1.5.1. Same error.

@GOG
Can you please provide the latest installer compatible with WIndows 7 or an older offline installer?

I would also like to be able to download Intravenous that is playable on a system it was listed for purchase, more specifically for Windows 7.

The latest version of Intravenous which supports Windows 7 is version 1.3.37.8. This version is available as additional download on Steam and should be here on GOG as well.

This, ideally the time to break any existing older OS compatibility on a GOG version should only have happened before an old game gets released here for the first time, but if it can't be avoided at a later date, then obviously GOG shouldn't be allowed to totally remove the installer for the last version that still runs on one or more of the older operating systems that later versions of this or that game can work anymore.

GOG games really need a new download section for any older installers that have some valid reason to be added there, because not everyone here has the time to download every update in time or to test each update properly enough to know if they still need to keep its predecessor backed up or not and obviously this would put new customers on a more equal footing with old customers, as the only reason the former couldn't obtain the same older, but still relevant versions for this or that game than the latter would if those game got pulled from the store before the new customers could buy them.
The Steam version also seems to be having issues.Even on Windows 10.

I tried reinstalling a few times, and wiping my setting. Won't launch no matter what.
