Is there a way to change the language of the game without changing the system language?

Would wish to know the same. For some reason the game's language is german, despite me having selected english as default and it being shown as "English" in Galaxy.

Okay, I have checked out steam forum and found this topic:

So, according to developer there is only one way to change locale:
control panel -> region and language -> select English as your system language.

Anything in the .ini file? language = german? I have not yet to get the game so I don't know, but check the gog file or ini file. Most of my games you can swap the language doing that.

I didn't find anything obvious like that.

I played around with the game ini files, deleting things that looked language related, but it didn't do anything.

Yeah, i'm recommend to wait and see how devs handle this problem (and bunch of other issues you could find on steam forum).

For me the game stays german even with a full english Windows 10 and the region set to UK - this needs to be fixed as I surely won't play it in german.

Strange thing is that the game starts with an english "Begin" button, displays the message "loading languages" and then switches to german.

Yup. After playing the game a few rounds, I noticed that my version isn't actually german, as I thought at first, but it's a silly mix-up of english and german. Changing the system language didn't do anything, but that's besides the point, as I'll not bother with switching the system-language for a single game all the damn time. Whoever thought that this is a viable way to handle the language setting of the game, is an idiot.

I really don't understand why a language selection option in the game menu isn't the default.

Hey all - Another legacy system here from our previous engineer. We're working to address it as we speak and hope to release an update that allows you to switch languages in-game very soon.
