Nevermind, a restart fixed it. Shit is crazy with this game xDDDDD Oh, I used this opportunity to also test if the game works if Wine is set up to emulate other windows versions. I had it initially at Win98, but using Windows7 it also works, the patched 25FPS EXE seems to recognize newer systems well. So no compatibility layer required anymore.
where do you download all these files too? I can download them, I just don't know where to put them, Thanks in advance for any help!

timpster: Hello, I thought it would be nice to play a 20 year old game (it was developed before then, so it's probably as old as I am), and I FINALLY got all the needed files. I'll upload the necessary additions you'll need (and even more, including DirectX even though I don't use it, nor do I like it), and you'll be all good.

If for whatever reason, my glide additions / folders, files in the root folder for the game, don't get it working, let me know, I'll help.

Also, I figured out the frame limiting stuff, use RivaTuner Statistics Server, (go download rivatuner) it's a **VERY** old program, but it's STILL used by EVGA Precision and maybe some others, because it just WORKS!! If it's not working, then restart your computer--I tried exting the program (evga GPU settings) / exiting Explorer.exe, etc, just restart the entire computer. It's completely worth it.

So, I'll throw the additions up on google drive, for everyone to download. Also, all the files look clean, and I was going to download the latest "voodoo" zip folder, but the x.54 version, firefox said it contained malware, so I got the version just before that, and it didn't complain. So, I was cautious with all the files, and it doesn't look like I have any malware!

I run the game at 24 FPS right now, but I'll play with 30 and higher settings. You'll have to play with the glide settings yourself--and you need to run it from the shortcut icon in the Interstate 76 program files folder, all the stuff you need, needs to be in there! I'm posting the modified shortcut as it allows you to add a command which I added "-glide". This puts it in the glide rendering setting, and it looks A LOT better than the default settings.

If you have any issues, post them, as I think I've covered everything, but I'll also post all my glide settings as well if you've not found the lucky combination.

I'll update or submit a new post once the upload is ready, but for everyone wanting to play a 20 year old game, I figured I'd do this right for everyone.

Edit: I can't post links, and was thinking about posting a picture, but I'd rather not get banned. Maybe I can send a message, or the mods will let it through.

I can also add a link (once allowed) to share where I got all the glide 3d stuff, but it will have to wait. All the files (EXCLUDING major game data) have been added to the cloud, so when I can add the share link, we can all enjoy the game as it was intended.
betweek the missbehaving physics,
cataclysmic permissions situation,
i woudl love to see somone patch both '76s and '82 but alas i see you were not permited to provide apropriate links due to some forums restrictions.

Is this compilations still under developement or is it avalible somwhere?
There thankfully is another way to get the game working on Windows 10 or any modern operating Windows system. I posted the lengthy guide there. I even included the fix for the Nitro Pack`s bugged audio.
