I love this game. I've played I76 since it was new. Nitro Pack, Hack 76, etc, etc. I still keep an old working Win 98 PC around to play it. However, I recently found it here on GOG. Can I play it on my current Win 10 PC? Is this still the same game I loved back in the 90's?

Long story short - I'm not asking for anyone to tell me if this is a good game - only if a current Win 10 PC can run it and if the game works properly.
Don't bother. This was one of favorite games, too. But the GOG port is shoddy and doesn't work without jumping through ridiculous hoops. Just check out this forum.

GOG f**** this one up.
I have it working in windows10 but not in 3d yet. I keep reading up on it. I have the voodoo driver download. Haven't gotten it to work though. L
Sure, it can run on a Windows 10 PC.

Running Linux, that is. Fun thing about Wine is that it's more backwards compatible with Windows than Windows itself. You'd have a much easier time getting things kitted up there.
Straight download: game works terribly. It just has issues on modern hardware. Gamebreaking issues.

The best and simplest solution is to run it with the AiO (All in One) patch which can be found on pcgamingwiki but I cant link :(

It fixes all the issues and you are literally jsut dragging and dropping 3 files per game out of winzip.
absolutely works great, takes 10 minutes to do, and the game itself is completely worth it.

The Hi-res patch... man its wonky. It mostly works and when it does it works well. It's a labor of love though.

You can get around not being able to post links by removing the https:// from the front of the link (and not using the link tags).
