another good glide wrapper ist Zeckensacks Glide Wrapper.
For me it works @ Interstate.
Also you can force "HiRes" in the config programm of the wrapper, so that Interstate runs @ 1280x960 instead of 640x480 (+ many more tweaks).

I agree, I can get the hi-res and the game to look like that and run smoothly, but the cars are bouncing all over the place and Taurus is swerving and riding the brakes and the front tires on both cars are whobbling like crazy! This guy did well!
This is about how it looks and play on my Netbook with XP, but that's only @ 640x480.
