Hi guys!

I was running into the same issue that some people encountered: Infernal Machine crashed upon launching, showing just a black screen and a busy cursor. I have a geforce 1070 mounted on an asus motherboard running win 10 64 bits.

I tried several of the things people tried before: disabling other audio devices... etc. Nothing worked.

Thanks to Falran from the technical department, I was able to make it run. This is what I did:

-Downloaded the 430.86 nvidia driver
-Installed it
-Tried a modern game to check it worked (it did)
-Downloaded and installed the latest sound device driver.
-Rebooted
-Updated GOG Galaxy and installed the game from there
-Launched the game, just to try.
-It runs!

Nvidia also has hd audio drivers for the hdmi connections, I don't know if this had also something to do, but I tried the game after updating both drivers, so it could be any of the two
Anyway, the game looks gorgeous on HD resolution, and I'm very happy to be able to play it! I hope some of you are able to make it run by doing this.

Again, thanks, Farlan!
