Noticed the game had a 30 FPS lock on it as soon as I started it up -

For anyone else annoyed with the lock, you can set it to 60 FPS:

1. Go to the game's install directory
2. Go into GameData > indy
3. Find the file called 'vars'.
4. Open it in notepad
5. The 'FPSLimit' option is pretty close to the top - set the value to 60 instead of 30.

As far as I know, the only downside is that it desyncs the audio in cutscenes.

Any other tweaks that you guys use? I just installed the game yesterday and I'm interested to see if there are more.

Thanks for this!

On a positive note: It doesn't desync the audio for me. I just started Prague and there have been zero issues so far.
I am playing the disc version (I try to dig up my boxed copies or dvd's when there is a new release to see if it works without issue and this game was due for a replay).

I also noticed that deleting vars sets it to 60 for some reason. Awesome that it doesn't desync audio though :D
Thanks for posting this- it looks so much better at 60fps!

Sorry for the necro, but I wanted to let people who buy this in the future know that you don't have to limit yourself to 60fps. I set my FPSLimit to 144fps, and it worked fine and didn't affect the audio in cutscenes.

Another tip is to set res_height= and res_width= to your desired resolution. It's much easier than changing it in the menu. Max res I've tested successfully is 1600x1200.

Hope this helps.

Edited because I suck at proofreading.

the 60 fps trick works but it won't change the resolution when i change the values for some reason. is there something extra that you have to do to enable it?
