Hi guys,
First off thanks to all the great advice on here on how to get I-War running its best, (especially Shadowcat) it's been really helpful.
My question is, has anyone else had the problem with the mission 'With Extreme Prejudice' where, after following the president to Mars space, it triggers a cutscene, then you immediately ram into his ship and fail the mission?
I had similar problems with Test Pilot, which I eventually worked around using the -lagrange command line but even with this and cheats turned on, there is no way to avoid it.
Does anyone know how to stop ships from spawning in front of the player in this and other missions? I think I read somewhere that it might be something to do with the glide wrapper?
Any help would be greatly received

If it's a pre-rendered cutscene you can just skip it (ESC). If it's showing other ships using external camera, you can switch back to cockpit view by workstation keys (F1-F4) and stop simply your ship before it flies into something.
That's the problem with cut-scenes: while they run the time is not stopped and your ship on keeps flying. And so do others, so if a cutscene kicks in when you're being attacked it might really hurt ;)
Also note that even with the cutscenes running the dreadnought still responds to controls, so you can push the joystick to change ship's heading a bit, kill the throttle or egage "halt" autopilot program. At least that's the case with cutscenes on game engine, i'm not sure about pre-rendered ones.
I love this game, but it does have some hilarious bugs. I remember twice on Asteroids Dellox I crashed into the enemy spaceship "object" and somehow became "object" myself, rendering the mission impossible because I would have to destroy myself to "destroy all enemy ships".
Also very frustrating trying to destroy a ship you're not meant to destroy yet, and for some reason the damage indicator locks at 20%. It's particularly annoying on the science mission, because you could easily bring a fighter to the battle you're supposed to lose and destroy your tormentors a thousand times over, yet still their damage reads out at 20.
