Please note that I never played this game back in the day, so I don't know how things are meant to look. Anyway, I decided to give this game and flightsticks a try. So far, it has been a confusing ordeal.

I think I figured out how to fire a missile, but all I hear is what sounds like a whooshing sound with no missile in sight. This isn't normal is it?

By the way, I'm using a CH Fighterstick ( it's also my first go at using these types of devices).

I-War 1 or 2? You may not notice the missiles firing if you're moving very fast as they'll tend to fall behind you.

Ah, yes, I am talking about the first one. I'll try launching them while stationary.

If you're at the weapons console you'll definitely see them.
