Hi,
recently bought I-War 2 and enjoying it, but there's one thing that make the experience sour: after a while, usually about 2 missions, the effects begin to sound totally corrupt (as if they're being decoded improperly) at a very loud volume and the sound system in general just gives in: there's only one sound playing at a time etc... I tried installing the latest SB Live drivers and Windows Media Player (as indicated in the technical FAQ) but to no avail. To fix this I usually have to restart Windows to play a few more missions. There's a related issue with movie audio that has "pops", but the in-game sound corruption is much more worse.
Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks.

Are you using Windows 7 or Vista? If so try using the Creative Labs ALchemy program to restore hardware accelerated audio.
If you're on XP you can try disabling hardware accelerated audio using the dxdiag program. Just click 'run' on the start menu and type dxdiag.
That did it, thanks again!
