Hey GOG, I'm one of the developers of the Tellurian mod for Impossible Creatures. I play the Steam version and so, Tellurian is primarily being updated via Steam Workshop. It's also currently the most popular mod on ICO. This puts GoG players in a bad spot, unfortunately. So, I've made a .7z of the current version of the mod for you guys who would like to stay up to date. To install it, you only need to extract the archive to your primary Impossible Creatures directory.

Version 2.6.1: https://www.moddb.com/mods/tellurian/downloads/tellurian-261

The Steam Workshop page can be found here: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=655968653

The mod adds 27 new creatures, along with several maps and balance changes. Have fun! Maybe I'll see all you lovely folks online.

Thanks for the link to this mod. Would you care to go into a little further of detail?
"Tellurian is a mod for Impossible Creatures which we hope will:
1). Balance IC, so that as many stock creatures are as useful as possible.
2). Fill out the IC genetic library with new, interesting stock creatures that are useful without being overpowered.
3). Provide a whole new experience without sacrificing the fundamental feel of IC.
4). Introduce modelling and modding techniques which have never before been available to anyone besides the Impossible Creatures developers themselves.
5). Be continually updated, and improved, so that no creatures remain overpowered or "abused" for long. It is important to note that we're striving for professionalism, here. That means proper science-y creature bios and mostly sensible abilities-- though some sacrifices have to be made in the name of balance."

Thanks! I was looking into this mod when I bought the game, and was sad to find that the newest version was only available on Steam. Is this going to be the permanent home of the non-Steam version?
When we get to version 2.5, I plan to create an installer and upload to ModDB but, until them, I'll post updates here.
Version 2.2 is out! We've added one new stock animal: the velvet worm, a direct ranged unit with pack hunter.

Other changes:
-Increased sight radius while flashed to 15
-Granted armadillo digging
-Decreased chimp range distance slightly

Download link in the OP.
Awesome, can't wait to try this out!
A little bit late, but I've added a link to version 2.21. It's just a quick balance tweak. We've lowered the scorpion's defense and increased its speed. The spitting spider has also been granted immunity. We've also added one new map: Nautilus, a medium 2v2v2 map by Kiki.

You guys can look forward to 2.3 being released in the near future as well.

When I click on any of the links in the OP all I get is a blank white page.
I understand that Dropbox recently made some changes to their site which caused links to no longer work. Could this be the issue here?
If so, could you update the links?

Hawk
I'm not having this issue. The links work fine for me. If you're still having problems, try changing the "dl=0" at the end of the URL to "dl=1".
