There is a new Version 0.6 beta of my beloved Spieleeditor for Imperialism 1
Because it's not possible to put URLs in this google it > S-E-I Forum Spieleeditorimp1

• Java19 JDK, x64 only :(
• Java Control Panel, make Java19 your Runtime, uncheck v1.8 you may have installed (because it's default on java.com)

After begging and bribing the Developer he added the Feature to Save/Export the Map as Imagefile.
When put on a second screen or printed out you always have an overview of the located resources and don't rail into wrong directions or conquer worthless provinces

Big thanks to regius nobiles for listening to my suggestions.

Please donate to value his countless hours of work when you like his project.

0.8 beta out now

- extensive visual changes (railways, rivers, transitions between the same territories, coasts, islands, and various little things)
- navigation no longer with arrow keys, but with CTRL+arrow keys. This works on the main window as well as on "Field" and "Province".
- new window "Empire" for display and modification of the available money as well as all resources in the warehouse of ALL major powers
- Change to the language files (please use the new ones from the ZIP)
- various bugfixes and code changes
-Values from -2,147,483,648 to 2,147,483,647 can be entered for money
- zoom via mouse scroll and in finer steps
- map exportable as an image (resolution depends on zoom) (File > Save As > Dateityp PNG Images)
- display of provincial production (see picture below)

doesn't work on XP/x86 32bit because of the old Java Version
Hello,

Thank you for this tool
Is there a readme or a guide to use it? I can't get it to work
I cannot find this tool.
Same I can't find it

I only played the game in his vanilla version any good mod or scenarios ?
the problem with the random game is that we can't chose which year to start
games always finish before going to the late age of industrialisation
Hi all,

here is the direkt link to my editor http sei.bplaced.net/Spiel-Editor-Imperialismus/. You need a Java Runtime for it.

Have fun!

Here's some tips:

1. JRE is useless for this, you need the latest JDK. Remove JRE first if you have it, then install the last JDK (22 as of this post)

2. This tool can change the date, you will be able to bypass the Council of Governors that ends the game and play past that date.

Also is it possible to place railways with this program?

Thanks for your message. It says, your JRE can use class file version up to 52, but I gave you 61. Comparing with the infos from https javaalmanac.io/bytecode/versions/ , class file version 61 means Java 17. But newer is also okay!
I think, JRE is still enought and no JDK needed. But please give feedback if I'm wrong.

Second: since first version of my editor it is also possible to set/remove railways. But please see the problem I describe in verions 0.6:

There is still an error when connecting or disconnecting stations and ports, either by placing these buildings or by changing the track. -> the connected resources doesn't go increase the transportable amouth of resources in your transport view.

Greetings
