I've tried any number of things to resolve this and it makes my favorite part of the game (naval) unplayable.
When I am in a naval battle, if I pause the game or bring up the options menu then return to the battle the mouse pointer no longer shows up. It is still tracked, I can make my ship move and stuff, just can't see where the mouse is pointing.
If I pause again, the mouse pointer comes back, but then if I try to continue it disappears again.
