Well, it's like that really. I've been through all the levels only when trying to return to Kuldahar, there is no place where the mouse pointer changes to an area transition pointer and clicking at the edge of the map just gives a click noise and does nothing.

Also, the PCs don't have "rare" selection sounds, i.e. the ones you get if you repeatedly click them.

What's up with this? Version is 2.5.17.0.

I'm not sure about your first issue, but I've experienced the second as well. I suspect that somewhere in the process of porting IWD into the BG2 engine broke the rare selection dialogues somehow.
