Walkthroughs say that to progress to the Watchknights' Crypt, you place the Symbol of Helm in the bowl in the Chapel of Helm. I have that object, but just touching the bowl isn't enough. Is there some other way of putting the Symbol in the bowl? The object doesn't work as equipment. I wonder if this is another bug, like Brother Thingy being dead and not being able to give me the last of the six keys or not being able to repair that bridge despite having the Engineering Manual. If all else fails, I'll use movetoarea, but I'm hoping to avoid that.

You have to put the Watchknights to rest first, by putting the respective 'Tales' into the appropriate tombs. You also need to find 6 keys to access the tombs.

I thought the Watchknights' tombs were in the crypt. So we'll look at it another way: I cleared out the four towers. I have the Symbol and the four knights' tales. What do I do next?

Ah, my mistake. Then click on the bowl and you will get familiar inventory boxes. Click on the Symbol and it will go into the bowl.
