Haven't seen a thread about this so I just wanted to see if they can verify such. I have been getting nowhere as of late as far as using the recent fan-made fix to run the game on Windows 8.1. I've tried using aqrit to no luck as of late so I figured I'd check to see if they've gotten the game to work for the latest version of Windows. Anyone had any luck?

Yes, I have gotten it to run, but it didnt run great, it was laggy at times, and there seems to be a engine cycle which caused them to walk normally, then slow down before going back to normal speed again. If you watch the little globe thing in the corner that (stops animating when you pause), you can see the animation on that slow and speed up again.

The gog ones took a lot of fuckign around to get working for me, Its annoying as hell as it worked fine for me on Win7 with no issues whatsoever.

The old cd/DvD copys work fine though, I ended up installing both the gog one and the normal one, and the normal one worked straight out the box.

Try uninstalling the shit that gog bundled with it.. i.e- that direct draw fix, and the widescreen mod, etc. and just run it in compatiblity mode for WinXP service pack 3.
Go to the installation folder and delete or rename ddraw.dll. Both games then start up right away on Windows 10.

This probably also works for the other Infinity Engine games if they are affected by this (I haven't tried them on Windows 10 yet).
