I''s a very pleasant surprise for me that we can get the Prima strategy guide for the Kyrandia trilogy. I hope someday GOG will have the guide from Prima for this game, too. (I wonder if Night Dive Studios has the rigths of the guide with the game or it is the property of Prima.) The original short story one of my favourites, and I also like the game, but I haven't read the guide yet. It has about 20 page backstory for the characters by Harlan Ellison. I have the game on my shelf, so I'm currently searching for reasons, to buy it from GOG, too (usually GOG wins these battles in my mind). I think the addition of this bonus content would be a great motive for me.
