Yes, Steam version runs via ScummVM, GOG via DOSBox.

Steam version also supposedly has Italian sub.

And it's getting some recent attention as of lately - wouldn't know additional details.

Galaxy is updating the game (reinstalling it really), so don't know if it's now ScummVM, but something has changed...!

EDIT: I can confirm it's running under ScummVM
