The sequel to the award-winning Project I.G.I. is now available in GOG.com's game catalogue for only $9.99.
In I.G.I. 2: Covert Strike you assume the role of British covert operative David Jones, a former SAS soldier now working for the secret U.S. military organization codenamed IGI – I'm Going In. During your campaign you will infiltrate hostile objectives located deep within enemy territories and eliminate enemies across China, Russia and Libya. Add to the action-packed single-player campaign an intense team-based multiplayer mode and you’ve got this absorbing and explosive title.
I wish the first I.G.I. was released ;)
Wow, I remember playing this game... I also remember it being ridiculously hard...
The first one was better than the second though. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it eventually makes it onto the service.
Both games were terrible.
I play every FPS that falls in my hands, even if it's mediocre. I've played Chrome (& sequel), Chaser, Mace Griffin Bounty Hunter, WH40K Fire Warrior (a yawn-fest if you ask me) and lots more... and I found a few things to admire.
I don't remember anything remarkable about the I.G.I. games. And they were too difficult. I wouldn't even pay $5 for both of them.
Can't agree...IGI 1 was great...and not that difficult, just from the beginning until I got used to...after that it was quite easy. The remarkable thing in this game is for sure being sniper...lots of fun :)
Hoping for the IGI 1 for 6 bucks as well...
I still have the first IGI and play it, yes it works on XP and there are few places that require some tactics to get through, but I would not call it hard
The first one was great. Bits of it were hard, until you looked at the problem again and realised what you were doing wrong, and one or two missions in particular stand out as difficult however you played, but the game was good fun and enjoyable throughout.
Never played the second, but I'm thinking of buying it now.

I agree. I loved the first one.
So, i wonder what the chances are of getting the first one? I never finished it!
I'll only buy IGI if it has mid mission saves..
That was the major thing that held it back.
