Did Red ever name her favourite waifu? I mean, even Underling was one of her chosen candidates. xD

No, if I remember correctly, she said Underling wasn't on her list :P Going by the first PS3 game, I'd say IF is her favorite.
Anone knows if this works on the GOG version?

It's compatible. Not perfect, but definitely an improvement for Neptune's dialogue.

Re:Birth 3's translation patch works great too, but doesn't feel finished as Neptune seems to regress part way through.

How do you make it work, the files are not the same between GOG and Steam.

There are some differences, but the files are predominantly the same. The patch works for both versions.

I just followed the instructions on the page mentioned above to get it working. A copy of the instructions are also provided in the patch's zip file.

All you need to do is unpack the files directly into the folder where your game is installed.

What you want is to see the following two folders and one dll file added in the game folder:

Birth2\
Neptools\
dinput8.dll

Then just run the game as usual. If the installation was successful, you should see a change to the game's title screen as well as a new typeface for the dialogue text.
