Just wanted to make note, for anyone interested. If you create a shortcut to the HostileWaters.exe file, and add a '-windowed' (Minus the 's) at the end of the target line in the shortcut properties, the game runs in windowed mode. That's always a bonus for me since I like to multi-task, and to be able to swap desktops in Synergy without games freaking out.
It automatically pauses the game and kills all sound from it when you change focus. You can miss cutscenes though, they keep playing without sound.
Really enjoying the game so far, its a nice concept being able to take personal control of units when you wish.
nice tip, thanks, i was kind of wondering if there was a way to run it windowed...
Personally, I rarely like playing games in window mode. But this may indeed be very helpful for some, as I think so far Hostile Waters always crashed whenever I tried to TAB out of and back into it :)
Most of my games (esp the older ones) don't support widescreen resolutions very well, so I almost always stick to windowed modes...that and my email/IM additions need feeding.
