I prefer to play RPGs, where I can focus on developing a single playable character (e.g. TES, Fallout, etc). Is this the case for HZD, or do I have to micromanage a party of multiple NPCs?
Thanks.
Haven't played too far, but so far looks to be completely single character. If I had to compare it to anything, similar to Shadow of Mordor/Shadow of War, but a bit more story oriented. So if you enjoyed those or similar games, you should enjoy this.

Single character. You can make allies along the way, but they are completely controlled by the AI.

If someone is looking for RPGs with an entire party, I can recommend Baldur's Gate 3 and Pathfinder Kingmaker.

Probably a problem stemming from different definitions, but personally I would not call HZD a RPG: you will collect xp to advance your hit points and general strength and you will get skillpoints to unlock certain abilities, but you don't have some kind of character sheet where you can distribute xp to a whole set of characteristics.
