What are the chances we'll see Horizon Forbidden West come to GOG after its PS5/PS4, Steam, and EGS release in the future? I really hope it doesn't get snubbed from the other storefronts.

Sounds unlikely until at least a few years. If it happens at all.
Unfortunately, since Horizon is the best open world I played since TW3

In a few years maybe.
Sony is planning on having over 100 of their titles come to PC within the next year or two, and I believe this title was mentioned somewhere somehow.

I guess they finally understood that they need the PC as second market now that people have trouble getting consoles and therefore no one buys the new games (not that there are many games for the new generation).

What's particularly crazy is xbox has more games now than playstation for the modern generation, and xbox cross releases most stuff with PC.
No more Sony game will every come to GoG or go DRM-Free this was explained but I can't remember the exact reason. The decision wasn't up to Sony when this game came to GoG. That's why you haven't seen any other Sony game on GoG. This was a one off and a fluke.
It was announced today that Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition will come to Steam and Epic Games store early 2024. Let's hope it will also come to GOG.
Zero Dawn also came to GOG some time after its Steam release without an early announcement if I remember correctly.
So many publishers have missed out on my purchases by not releasing here. On those other platforms, I wait to buy games until they are dirt cheap. Also, since I have so many good games here, I rarely buy anywhere else now. My last purchase on another platform was Oct 31, 2022. I don't even bother to check for the free games on Epic any more.

The only Playstation to PC game I have purchased is Horizon Zero Dawn, here on GOG. I would buy some others if released here.

On that note, I'm still hoping for Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition and the Mass Effect Trilogy. Hopefully Outer Worlds 2 will make it here, but MS probably won't do that.

It wasn't super long after it released on Steam, iirc it was just past the timeframe for me to get a steam refund because I was convinced it wasn't coming here.
Well - Horizon Forbidden West Complete Edition is coming to Steam on March 21 this year (2024), so It's not that strange to have hopes it will be released on GOG too. I know, I know - GOG is in many cases an afterthought, but if the previous game is released on GOG, I see no reason why they would not do the same with the sequel.

Here is hoping we will hear more about that soon.
Well, it makes no sense to not release the sequel to the first game on GOG, but it will probably take months after the game is out on Steam and Epic.

We just need to have some patience then. I don't mind, as long as it's DRM free (and NO, data collection that simply can be blocked in your firewall is NOT DRM).

I have the first game on Epic and it's DRM-free there too. No need to use the client to play it. Hopefully it's the same for the sequel.
