HTWingNut: On the other hand, I hear people say all the time that they'd rather pay a higher premium for games without DRM, yet here we are.
Time4Tea: Well, apparently the game is the same price on Steam, so it has nothing to do with it being DRM-free.
I mean, the game looks amazing and I am going to buy it. But, I agree it seems pricey for a 3 year old game that is selling for $20 on Playstation. When games are released simultaneously on PC and console, the PC version doesn't usually cost >2x the price of the console version, does it?
There is a huge contrast with the Talos Principle release, which was 90% off for the first week ($5!!).
actually it's only 10 bucks during holiday season, was last year and is this year too, on ps4.
HTWingNut: I think it's a bit expensive, sure. But then again, if you don't think it's worth your money, then don't buy it. Simple.

Keep in mind that they also have a 30 day money back guarantee, so if it DOES drop in price, I'm assuming they'll at least refund the difference.
I didn't pay a premium for DRM for the Witcher games, not A plague tale Innocence, or the Bioshock collection, nor the Bethesda games I've gotten on here. They all seem to be about the same price as Steam is selling them for. I don't think GOG charges us a premium for DRM free, and I imagine the decision to sell it for $50 probably came down to Sony, maybe. They're charging $50 on Steam too, which is bollocks, and it hasn't gone on sale yet. I believe they actually were gonna sell it for the same price as console at first but then something happened, maybe people pirated it and so Sony upped the price, idk, that might've just been a rumor but i do remember people saying they pre-ordered before it was even released on Steam that they bought it for $20.
