One year in the making, we've just released our latest patch update with many new features, bug/exploit fixes, and balance refinements!! Huge thanks to Fear and QuadS for all the work they've put into HWR, and Lif for his UI work. Change notes are here.

Thank you.
Your link doesn't work, tho.
Also, I don't understand, on Moddb I still see version 2.3

Link is working fine for me.

The patch is of course still version 2.3 but it's an updated build. At the moment it is build 12.

Weird, now it works also for me. Yesterday it returned "page not found". Ok then.

I don't know about builds, shouldn't version number just go up after every change? E.g: 2.3.1

I'm not a developer but as far as i know, they're using different types of version numbers. So maybe you can say version 2.3.12 or version 2.3 build 12. It's the developers choice.

Ah ok.

Anyway, the author here said that "The list of campaign issues is still quite long", so maybe I should wait more, before playing Homewold Remastered.

Btw, the folder "DATAWORKSHOPMODS" can just be in the game's directory, it's not necessary to create it inside the GalaxyClient\Games\ subfolder, right? (which is empty for me)

The folder must be in the game's directory \HomeworldRM. For example: D:\GogGames\Homeworld_Remastered\HomeworldRM

Btw. since you're from Italy, maybe you want to play the games in italian. If you're using the 2.3 Players Patch, you have to launch the games with the shortcuts coming with it. But the games will start in english. To change the language, you have to add an additional parameter to the shortcuts: -locale Italian

Example for Homeworld 1 Remastered: "D:\GogGames\Homeworld_Remastered\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release\HomeworldRM.exe" -locale Italian -dlccampaign HW1Campaign.big -campaign HomeworldClassic -moviepath DataHW1Campaign -workshopmod 2.3PlayersPatch.big

Thanks for the kind extra advice, but no, I prefer to play games in english since decades by now :P

This info will still be useful to others, though, so +1.

Don't know if the problem is on my end, but I followed the instructions and am getting the game to run, but there is no campaign mode. I just get to do skirmishes on random maps and the tutorial.

My game's file paths are:

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release

C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered\HomeworldRM\DATAWORKSHOPMODS

So I changed the target to:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered\HomeworldRM" -2.3PlayersPatch.big"

and the start in to:

"C:\Program Files (x86)\GOG Galaxy\Games\Homeworld Remastered\HomeworldRM\Bin\Release"

EDIT: I tried redoing the process, and the shortcut became a folder.
