You probably can but achievements don't matter on GOG.

Well they matter on steam for leveling up your account and on uplay achievment points can be used to buy extra's like soundtracks.

Does anybody know where achievement information is stored withing GOG files for this game?
Which achievement is done and which not?

I'd like to know, too. Even after a complete un- and reinstall the achievements remain. Which is doubly annoying.

Found it: it's in the registry. Use regedit, it's stored under HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Team Cherry/Hollow Knight

Dunno how it's stored yet, but erasing the entry resets achievements
