That graphical non expensive 2D-Layer game runs very slow on my Mac. The scrolling stutters and the fan of the very hot an overheated MacBook runs with full speed...

That Unity crap is really an unoptimized engine (or the game developers are not able to optimize the game). Look similar games like Aquaria from 2007 with very expensive 2D-sprite-transformation and light effects. That game runs very fast on old computers, because they use an optimized engine for the game:
