I could run the game great until yesterday. Now, if my computer has been on a while (time is indeterminate) I get a LOT of stuttering and freezing when I kill enemies or use the Crystal Dash.
I get 10-30 second "Program not responding" prompts when loading between screens even in the same zone. I didn't have to before, and I don't want to have to restart my computer to get the game running in a playable condition. Maybe someone else has run into and possibly found a fix for this ridiculousness.
Nothing has changed on my system in the last 2 days.

intel Core i7 3.4GHz quad core processor
16GB DDR3 RAM
nVidia GeForce GTX660Ti 2GB GPU.
