I bought a new 8bitdo controller a few weeks ago (N30 Pro 2), but Hollow Knight doesn't seem to recognize it. Even with native controller input on, the game won't detect any input from my controller. I tested it earlier today with snes9x and it was working fine.

I set mine to the mode designed for Windows (which makes it appear as an Xbox 360 controller), connected it to my Linux box via USB, and it works fine.

Does that help?

(I have the SF30 Pro.)

I don't happen to have a Linux box, and what do you mean by the mode designed for windows?

I believe it's the setting that is labeled as XInput on the back of the controller. (Start+X on my SF30 Pro)

Thank you! it's Start + X here too. I'll check if that worked once my new monitor gets here lol, mine broke today.
