This game is awesome, and it's wonderfull to play this after so many years !
But the music from GoG Hocus Pocus is not the same, I mean it's not the same version than the old one. I've made a comparaison between the tracks from GoG and the original soundtrack .The old one is better, because this is the music I remember.
Do you have any idea how I could change the tracks from the game to replace the original soundtrack ?
Thanks for answering (and sorry for bad English ^^ )

The music in this (and many other old games) is MIDI. MIDI music can sound very different depending on the synthesizer that is playing it or it's waveset. It's actually one of the things I found really cool about games back then. Messing with your sound card and settings you could make a games music sound very different.

To address your issue. The GOG version comes set to General MIDI (which, in most games, sounds better to me) but you're probably used to the Sound Blaster version. If you know how to use DosBox, you can navigate into the Hocus Pocus directory and run the Setup program which will allow you to change the music card to Sound Blaster. If you can do that, I bet it will sound the way you remember.
Thanks a lot for, MWink, this was the solution I needed :)
I also changed it because I prefer the Sound Blaster version, to me it seems more fitting for the game. One 'bug' I came across though was that I couldn't turn down the music volume in the game (it was quite loud) so now I'm using Sound Canvas as the music card. Sounds the same but allowed me to change the volume!
Can someone explain how they accomplished the change to Sound Blaster? I'm not used to DOSBox environment as I don't like command lines very much, I hooked up GOG's Hocus Pocus to D-Fend Reloaded so if anyone knows what I should choose there to get Sound Blaster that would be great!

Sorry, I realize it's a late reply, but it should be a really simple switch.

I haven't used D-Fend in a (long) while, so bear with me if my directions aren't 100%.

In your D-Fend profile for Hocus Pocus, there should be an option to add in a Setup file in addition to the main game. Just select the Hocus Pocus setup (it's under setup.exe) and add that under the profile's setup. Then you should be able to right-click the profile and select Setup and it will run Hocus Pocus's setup file. From there, just select General Midi from the music menu and change it to Soundblaster.

I hope some of this helps. :)

How were you able to adjust the volume once you selected Sound Canvas? Where would I find the volume adjuster?

Edit: Never mind, I found it.
