pepsi_max2k: TL;DR:

Download HiddenandDangerous2.WidescreenFix.zip from (see patreon link in previous page, which takes you to github) then extract the contents (Maps folder, scripts folder, and d3d8.dll) to your Hidden and Dangerous 2 game folder.

Run setup.exe from the Hidden and Dangerous 2 game folder and see new choice of resolutions. That's it.

FWIW I have the following selected:
1920x1080, 4x
Fullscreen, Tripple Buffering, Vertical Synchronization, 60Hz, 32 bit.
Tru colour
Sound, Current windows speaker conf.
Hardware Transform & Lighting, Suspend when inactive.
Ok I followed these instructions exactly, but when i run the setup.exe, there is still no option for 1080 resolution, still just the 4:3 resolutions, any ideas what I'm doing wrong?

Edt*** disregard I figured it out...duh. Take the three files OUT of the unzipped folder and place in directory. Not the folder itself.

Mine did a update today. The WS Fix!
I used https://thirteenag.github.io/wfp#hd2 and https://www.moddb.com/games/hidden-dangerous-2/addons/hidden-dangerous2-esrgan-upscale-x2

I had to set the fov to -95 or the squad selection would disappear or the game would flip upside down.

Hi guys. I hope you can help if you have encountered the same issue.
I'm using H&D2, with the latest widescreen fix and Ersgan textures.
My screen resolution is 2560x1070, it's an ultrawide screen.

The problem is that if I select 2560x1080 from the game settings, the standard 0.0 FOV is way too wide.
If I try to manually change to fov to, say -60 or so, then it is ok, but every single time you're zooming or aiming with your weapon is not smooth as it shoul be, you see for a second a bit of a "messed up fov" to then get to the aiming weapon.

If I try to change fov settings, then the game is upside down.

Any suggestions?
