Some of you probably recognise this list from the other Heroes of Might & Magic related forums out there. Since this is a pretty busy HoMM forum I figured I’d copy the list here too!

Long story short, in 2011 I created a Heroes of Might & Magic section on my retro website paying tribute to the original games along with some of the great HoMM total conversion/sequel fan projects out there (alive or dead) to make sure that they are never forgotten and can inspire other talented fans to create new HoMM related projects in the future. There are a gazillion mods & maps out there for HoMM games so I'm more interested in just tributing the big total conversion projects that expand the original game. I also created a list of other games out there that are similar to HoMM. For these lists I collected pics, vids, demos, and information for as many of them as possible. I could use some help from the community with this list as I'm sure there's more I don't know about. This is my latest summary of the website list below.

It's very, very similar in gameplay to Heroes 3 and 5, and set in a sci-fi setting. It was bug-ridden, however, which is probably the reason to so small ratings.

There are lots of King's Bounty games not just "The Legend" by now.

Also there's Royal Bounty HD from the creators of Palm Kingdoms.

Oh wow! I have never ever seen or even heard of that game before. I love scifi and space games so to see a HoMM style space game is awesome!! I'll be getting my hands on that for sure! Thanks!

Opps, typo sorry! I actually had the right thing written on my website as hell I own ALL the King's Bounty games these days lol but I forgot to update its entry in the forum list. All fixed now.

Oooh Royal Bounty HD looks awesome. I'll have to investigate that one too. Thanks man!

Just a little bit of nitpicking incoming ;)

vcmi isn’t a mod, neither a total conversion, but a brand new open-source engine that should at some point allow to play the original game with extended features (or without if you like the vanilla experience better).
