Latly i installed vanilla Heroes IV v3.0 via GOG Galaxy v1.2.47.

The problem is when i press run in Galaxy, game doesnt run. In task menager there is process of Heroes IV but i cant "End Process". It gives me warning i have to be on account with Adming previlages to end this process. It also doesnt help.
But i can go into folder of heroes and run it via heroes4.exe and it works perfectly in 100% game doesnt crash after hours of gameplay etc. But this opens as second process.
I wanted to check the hours i spend in game but when i play it by opening heroes4.exe it doesnt count in GOG Galaxy. How can i fix this to count the hours in GOG Galaxy.

After i close the game i opened via .exe, button in GOG Galaxy "play" is stay grey instead of green.

Try GL Wrapper for heroes 4 - it should fix this problem:

I had to give my account admin previlages. Running as adming didn't help at all.

Strange. Haven't had that problem myself. I'm currently playing it with Galaxy. The game even has cloud saves so it is obviously meant to be played with Galaxy.

Try sending a ticket to GOG support. Those guys are usually quick to respond and very helpful.
