I hope they come around to us, but if not; I'll have to scratch them off my list for the time being...

GOG and the devs have said in the past that it will be released here so I'm quite confident it will.

I think the reason that the devs have gone the Steam beta route instead of releasing it here too is the simple fact that it is easier and quicker for them to push new updates via the Steam client than it is using Galaxy which is is known to have problems.

I know what you mean - I'm so looking forward to the game too :)
I hope it's not intentional, but I find it heart-breakingly disingenuous to remove a "second book comes as a free update" from item description only to go full "Orange Box" on fans and get to sell the second chapter as a new title, packaged with the previous one and pack it into a new/updated engine (at least, that's the plan described by developer on Steam)

Yes, that is a bit worrying but I think that both the devs and GOG have made it clear in the past that everyone who bought the game before the cut-off date will be getting the new version added to their account for free. I really can't see them backing down on that promise especially as GOG have officially said that will be the case - see here;

Let's hope they stick to their promise.

Snap!

Great news indeed, thanks GOG and Games Farm / Kalypso Media Digital for keeping your word. Really looking forward to playing this :)
Thank you indeed. I was looking at my games library and saw it there. I was scratching my head thinking, when did I buy this? :)
